Pulwama attack: Pakistan panic, worried by action of India, seeks help from United Nations

Pakistan has urged the United Nations to immediately intervene to reduce the tension along with India after the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama. The Pakistani Foreign Ministry said that the Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi sent a letter to the United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Gatorase on Monday and sought his help in reducing tension between the two countries.

It is noteworthy that in the suicide attack on February 14 in Pulwama district of Kashmir, about 40 soldiers of the army were martyred. The responsibility of the attack was taken by terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed. After this attack, the tension between India and Pakistan has increased. Both of them have called back their respective high commissioners.

After the Pulwama encounter, the army said, who will take the gun, will kill them

Qureshi wrote in his letter, "I draw your attention to the worsening security situation in our region due to the threat of India's use of force against Pakistan. India has denied any third party intervention on Kashmir issue and has come to say that all matters related to relations between India and Pakistan should be resolved in a bilateral manner.

Qureshi said in his letter that the attack on the Indian CRPF jawans in Pulwama was clearly done by a Kashmiri resident. Even India has said the same. He said that it is absurd to make Pakistan responsible for this attack even before the investigation.

Qureshi alleged that India has deliberately raised its hostile statement against Pakistan due to domestic political reasons and has created a tense atmosphere. He wrote that India has also indicated that it could withdraw from the Indus Water Treaty. Qureshi insisted that this would be a big mistake.

He said, "It is mandatory to take steps to reduce stress. The United Nations should intervene to reduce the tension. Qureshi said that India should be asked to conduct a free and reliable investigation of the terrorist attack. He said, "You can ask India to talk to Pakistan and Kashmiris to avoid further tension and to calm the situation.
